The Best Yet !
Tuesday, 17 November 2015  |

I would rarely do a review on many items, however, after a considerable amount of research on this control system ( its much more than that ) I decided to take the plunge and make a purchase. Having used and owned several DCC control systems over the years this has to be the best I have owned and used.
Like many expensive items it is always wise to do your research and ask if in any doubt prior to making the plunge (this was a late birthday present to myself ).
Any fears that I may have had were unfounded from my point of view as I have very quickly become accustomed to this DCC system on steroids !
There are very few systems which compare to the way in which this unit can provide so many useable features, and more, all in one place. I have found the touch screen feature a real bonus and a pleasure to use with further possibilities to produce a layout diagram for RailCom monitoring of your locomotives at any point on your layout. It will recognise numerous DCC manufacturers products when used in conjunction with it and also has something known as "Ecosniffer" which accepts certain other DCC systems to be plugged into it and be used in conjunction with the Ecos command station acting as the primary control (which means your current system may not be totally redundant).
At the risk of sounding too enthusiastic I would wholly recommend this Command System if it is within someones budget, if not maybe save up for one because I for one don't have any regrets whatsoever in purchasing it.
There are so many possibilities in its use for the DCC enthusiast many of which I have yet to discover and look forward to doing so.
Whilst there are not too many English reviews or videos I have found that YouTube has been of use prior to purchasing and one in particular under the user name of "Hovermotion" (no connection and usual disclaimer applies ) who gives quite a few fairly extensive tutorials as a first time user.
Final I would also like to that DCC Train Automation for all the help prior to purchasing the product and the aftersales help when needed.
