The DR12 cab lighting is designed to illuminate the cockpit of your locomotive. Also useful for headlights.
Due to the ultra-small, very slim printed circuit board, the DR12 cabt lighting can be installed almost anywhere.
DR12 cab lighting is also fitted with a white gold LED to provide a natural effect without any discolouration of the cab, this also makes it suitable for headlights.

The method of use is to ensure both axles on the bogie are live to the same rail (turn the axle assembly 180 degrees if required), and mount the pickups to brush the axle. Set-up the other bogie to the opposing rail.
Pickups can be mounted using the pivot for the bogie, epoxy or double sided adhesive (not supplied)
The capacitors are soldered to the lighting bar where indicated in the light bar instructions.

Digirails LED Yellow Light bar
A multi-purpose yellow 10 LED strip

The new DR110 LED strip is the successor and the combination of the Digirails DR10 and DR280 led strips.

The lighting bar contains an integrated dimmer control, anti-flicker circuit(additional 220uF capacitors can be fitted) circuit and will operate from any power source from 5v to 30v (AC/DC/DCC)
The light bar is 28 cm long and consists of 2 segments of 14 cm. (5 led each)
Both segments have their own power supply, which allows a LED strip to be used in two different applications with ease, simply by cutting it in half.
The LED light bar can also be shortened in 1 LED increments.

Digirails DCC Light bar with lighting effects (80.010)
A Golden white LED strip with an integrated function decoder

Uniquely simulates many different lighting types

The combination of an integrated 8 function DCC decoder, and 4 sets (total 12) of independently controlled golden white LED's
enables various realistic effects such as the start-up of fluorescent tubes, 'soft starts' for incandescent lighting, gas lamps warming up, and even faulty lighting units!
The strip can be easily shortened (by 1 or more LEDs) and will fit many sizes of carriage.

The strip contains 4 'spare' additional function outputs which can each take a load of up to 500mA, this provides control for additional lighting such as:
End of train (EOT) devices
Directional Head/Tail lighting for DVT's and non-powered cars
and even ancillaries such as couplers.
