A hugely capable and versatile mixed traffic machine built for the Southern Region, but seen further afield from the mid-1980s. The Class 33/0 is the standard variant employed on freight and passenger work both singly and in pairs. This model is available with both original and revised exhaust ports and with or without high intensity headlights fitted from the late-1980s onwards.
