Railway Laser Lines – Laser Cut OO Gauge Cardiff Canton Pump House kit.

This small building would make an excellent addition to any model railway layout. This is the ‘Cardiff Canton’ water pump house and we were asked if we could design and supply this to a customer. Up for the challenge, and also liking the small building, I set to work on creating it. Now, although it is a pump house at Cardiff, on your layout, you could use it for a number of things. Maybe a small office for the security man at the depot gates, or how about an outside loo! I’m sure this kit will see many different variations on people’s layouts over the coming months and we certainly look forward to seeing what people do with it.

If you haven’t made a Railway Laser Lines kit, then at £19.99 this won’t break the bank and its a great place to start kit building. Although it only measures L 52mm x W 45mm x H 39mm, it has 32 pieces to the kit, so will keep you busy for a while during the different stages of the build.

Instruction Kit Document

There are NO instructions with this kit. This time, we’ve handed the reigns over to Richard Hughes over at St.Michael’s Hill YouTube channel to show how to build this kit and Richard takes you through the various stages and what extra he has done to his kit. Richard was the gentleman who requested this to be built, so we duly sent him one free of charge in return for a video explanation on how to build and we think he had done a fabulous job and can’t wait to see it on his layout alongside the Railway Laser Lines 2-road diesel depot.

Assembly Required: Yes

Additional Parts Required (Not Included With Kit): Comes as a kit but some parts of the kit will require priming, painting and/or glueing. A sharp craft knife/zippy blade or similar will be required to remove pieces from part of the kit.
Other items required to assist: PVA Glue (or equivalent) Sandpaper, Primer Paint, Acrylic/Enamel Paint, Masking Tape, Paint Brushes.

Advise: When priming/painting, do so in a well-ventilated area and use an appropriate mask. Some items are very fragile so handling with care is paramount.
