This is an additional circuit kit for our a Helix Starter kit and is suitable for OO gauge British Outline 4th radius curved track ONLY (Peco) .  It can follow the starter kit in being built either rising clockwise or anticlockwise.

Our Helix kits are laser cut from 6mm thick Lightweight Poplar ply, not MDF.  Poplar ply being a lot more stable and longer lasting than other substrates.  All joints are fully supported.

The circuit kit is to increase the total height of the helix by adding additional circuits and each circuit will rise approx 80mm (approx 3 5/32 inches)  With the starter kit giving you a height of approx 120mm you will end up with the following.

1 x Additional Circuit Kit + Starter Kit                   200mm total rise in height.

2 x Additional Circuit Kits + Starter Kit                 280mm total rise in height.

3 x Additional Circuit Kits + Starter Kit                 360mm total rise in height.

4 x Additional Circuit Kits + Starter Kit                 440mm total rise in height.

5 x Additional Circuit Kits + Starter Kit                 520mm total rise in height.

As you can see from the picture, you end up with 72mm from the top of the wooden track bed to the underside which is enough for clearance for steam, diesel and electric locos with Pantographs down, The loco pictures are on code 100 track on top of a 5mm foam bed.  

The circuit based on 4th Radius curves of 571mm has a gradient of 1 in 44 / 2.2%

This pack comes with the following:

8x  1/8 circle sections.

8x  Connecting bridges including 8x inner segment guides, 8x outer segment guides.

All required nuts and washers 

You will need our  HO/OO 4th Radius ONLY  Starter Kit and basic tools to make your helix
