Set of 2 supplementary coaches for the PIKO ICE 4 of the DB AG Ep. VI. In 2011, Deutsche Bahn AG commissioned Siemens Mobility to build up to 300 new high-speed trains for use in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The new railcars of the BR 412/812, which are jointly developed by Siemens and Bombardier, are powered by several cars, so-called Powercars. The train configuration provides various modular units of five-part to 14-part trains. With this concept, the train can be easily adapted to the individual requirements of the transport companies for the desired acceleration, speed and number of seats.
