In 1928, the former Bernina Railway put two dining cars into service. Until Mitropa installed a kitchen in 1944, they were each coupled to a kitchen trolley. In 1987 her service on the “Glacier Express” trains ended. In 2001 one of the two dining cars from the Furka-Berg steam railway returned to the RhB.
As part of the fundamental renovation, it was initially converted into a hall car and in 2010 it was set up as a piano bar. To match the saloon cars, it was given the blue or later two-tone colour scheme of the "Alpine Classic Pullman Express".
